Our Attempt at the Sock Bun Curl

For my sister's wedding I wanted to try something fun on my life-size Barbie AKA McKenna's hair. I looked on pinterest and found the sock bun curling method and decided to try it. Anything that is fast and easy I will give it a try. McKenna has pretty fine hair and it curls well but it doesn't hold it.  Surprisingly I really liked her hair in the bun itself so we'll try that out too.

It turned out really pretty. I put a little bit of spray gel in her hair which may have made it a little frizzy so I might not use that next time.

Saleen's 1st Birthday

Saleen by far has been the easiest, most content, and easy going baby off all of her sisters and brother. She is sweet and loving and is such a joy for us. She has by far the least amount of hair. McKenna's was about 5 inches long in the front at 1, she has no teeth, and is still army crawling.  Kaiden was walking at 10 months.  But she's perfect and I wouldn't want her any other way.  Happy Birthday my girl and we're looking forward to many more with you!

Saleen turned one years-old yesterday.  She had a very exciting birthday and was the first of all my babies to not like her cake. She thought it was kind-of gross:)

Her sisters helped her blow out the candle which was also very exciting...

Here she is again being very excited...

Spending time with her daddy and family was very fun and although she was afraid of the balloons she did really like the slinky.

What she really did find exciting was her new stuffed animals.  She loves them.  She hugs them like there're the best things in the world.  Its adorable.  Finally she has some of her own that Seer won't steal as much anyway.

Wintery Beginning to Spring Break

On Wednesday morning we awakened to quite a surprise.  We had about 6 inches and falling of snow.  It kept the kids out of school for two days and then spring break began.  Needless to say everyone had a lot of fun.

Royalty Core

We have come a long way in our short time in business manufacturing truck grilles.  I think about the daily struggles that we went through and I can't tell you how grateful we are that sales have picked up and we're not pulling our hair out trying to get noticed.  Once again Josh's artistic flair, integrity, and business sense has gotten him rising to the top of the market.  People are saying that he is better than the competition and there is no comparison.

Here are two magazine articles that came out this month.  The first one is featuring a truck we sold a grille to and the second one is Josh's SEMA truck he built up in 2010-we got it into a magazine 2 years later!

We have a lot of work ahead of us but things are finally looking up for this business.  Josh and his team have built an awesome product and he will continue to bring new things to the truck market.  We even have a great new "surprise" employee that we're looking forward to working with soon.

McKenna's Baptism

We were proud to celebrate McKenna's baptism on New Year's Eve.  She and Josh did wonderful and she beamed like a true princess.  We were happy to join with another family from our ward and a friend of McKenna's.

We were happy to give her a CTR necklace to remember the day by which everyone was calling her "baptism bling."
Thank you Aunt Erin for coming and celebrating with us.  We were glad you could make it.
